RBv3X does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking — and the app makes no network connections at all.
1. Overview
RBv3X is a native macOS menu bar utility that configures Razer Basilisk V3 series mice. It runs entirely on your Mac. The developer operates no servers that receive your data, and the app contains no advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking SDKs.
2. Information we do not collect
We do not collect personal information, usage statistics, device identifiers, crash analytics, or any behavioral data. Because nothing is collected, there is nothing to sell, share, or hand to third parties.
3. Your mouse and its settings
RBv3X communicates only with your connected Razer mouse over USB, using Apple's public IOKit frameworks inside the App Sandbox. The commands it sends configure DPI, lighting, buttons and read the battery level. Nothing read from the device leaves your Mac.
4. Local settings storage
Your preferences (DPI stages, lighting, appearance) are stored locally in macOS user defaults, and button mappings are written into the mouse's own onboard memory. Both stay with you; deleting the app removes its local data.
5. Network connections
RBv3X makes no network connections. It has no networking entitlement in its App Sandbox configuration, so the operating system itself prevents any network access.
6. Data retention and deletion
Since no data is collected or transmitted to us, there is no personal data stored on any server to retain or delete. All application data lives on your Mac and is removed when you delete the app.
7. Children
RBv3X is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. It collects no data from any user, regardless of age.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
